Win a signed HAVEN paperback!

ONE WEEK TO GO UNTIL PUBLICATION DAY!! We’re nearly there! To mark the occasion, I have THREE of these beauties to give away in our last HAVEN giveaway.

Because I’m going to be closing the giveaway at midnight on Halloween, I thought we could have some fun with this one (or lasting trauma as the case may be) and have a theme all about fear.

If you’d like to be in with a chance of winning a SIGNED HAVEN PAPERBACK, all you have to do is:

TELL ME WHAT SCARES YOU

Maybe it’s a particular supernatural being that terrifies you, such as vampires or werewolves or ghosts. Maybe your phobia is a common one: a fear of heights or spiders or snakes. Or maybe it’s a little more unusual, like a fear of balloons or cheese or even your own navel (that’s a real fear apparently!). Or maybe it’s clowns that give you the chills, or being alone in the dark… or maybe you hide under the bed during a lightning storm…

Don’t be scared to confess all – you’re amongst friends. None of us will judge. Honest. 😏

HERE ARE THE RULES

For your entry to be valid you must:

  • leave your answer in the comment thread below

OR

OR

ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON PLEASE (however long your list might be)!

The giveaway is OPEN NOW and will close at midnight (GMT) on Tuesday 31st October.

The three winners will be drawn using a random number generator and will announced by 8 p.m. (GMT) on Wednesday 1st November – Haven eve!

ADDITIONAL INFO:

  • The winners will need to claim their prize within 7 days of their name being announced. If you do not follow my blog or like my Facebook page, you will need to check back to see if your name has been selected.
  • Your book can be posted anywhere.
  • Proof of postage will be retained but prizes lost in transit cannot be replaced.
  • As with all of my giveaways, I will avoid responding to entries.

Have fun! I’ll be back next Wednesday to announce the three winners. Have a great weekend – and happy Halloween! 👻🕸🎃

WINNERS

And the winners of a signed paperback each are…

Huge congrats, Jennifer, Jenny and Olga! Please email or message me with your contact details and I will get your signed book in the post to you asap. 😊📖✍🏻

Again, thank you so much to everyone who joined in – and with such a sense of fun too! I was inundated with entries in the end as the confessionals began. It was such an eye opener! And far too many times I found myself nodding and agreeing (as well as recoiling in horror at some of the pics posted on my Facebook thread 😱). For those of my readers who don’t have access to Facebook, here are just some of the entries:

We’re nearly there now! As of midnight tonight, HAVEN will either be appearing on your e-reader or heading in the post to you. My fingers are crossed that you enjoy it.

Happy (even if slightly angsty) reading! And thank you, as always, for your support.

I am scared of home invasions…. I triple check locks and have every safety measure. The movie The Purge freaks me OUT!!!

Cheryl Bohannon

I am scared of the threats caused by our orange bollocks of a president (i live in the USA). Everything that man does more and more to instigate problems. The only other thing i fear is dying and leaving my family a large debt.

Aslan

I’m scared of nightmares. Always happen if the room is too hot and stuffy. And clowns give me the willies!😈 Can’t wait to read Haven. Aaaannd… Any news on Caleb and Leila 😂

Linda B

Spiders! Hurry up Haven !

Thi Nguyen

Aside mosquito, I’m scared of the year of the snake zodiac!

I usually don’t believe in Zodiac mythologies but somehow the Chinese ones tend to be real good on predictions! I fear every time we landed the year of the snake, we will suffer some traumatic that will affects our history like many other Asian do.

Nicola

spiders really freak me out! small ones I can handle but big spiders nooooo way.

Diana C.

Mannequins, the dummies shaped like the human body which are used to display clothes, scare the life out of me. Whenever I look at one I’m afraid it’s going to move!

Jenny

Spiders…..horrid!!

Lea

I am alone, and bare. There is a complete absence of light and sound. I can feel a sense of touch, but nothing does. I am suspended by nothing…… magic? Then my arms are lifted away from my sides by a will of their own and my feet separate slightly. Now I cannot feel even the touch of my own body. I have only my thoughts and the aloneness is overwhelming. I try to scream, but I can’t. Please Gods, just let me scream!!!

And then I hear it. A low growl; then another. And another…….

Yuck! I usually wake up curled up into a ball, hugging myself. I’m exhausted and my face is wet. And it FEELS SO GOOD! ..

Melanie Malcoon

Anything demonic. Evil is the fear I have when it exposes it self in my dreams. Luckily, it doesn’t happen often.

Claire Palmer

For me it’s always been spiders! Need to find myself a brave Blackthorn guy to help keep those away 🙂

Jennifer Gibson

I have a fear of going off bridges. So many people do where I’m from and Im scared someone will hit me and make my car go over. Also the fear of drowning!

Demei

I love all things of horror but zombies scare the living crap out of me. I don’t watch or read about anything to do with zombies but for some strange reason I’m addicted to The Walking Dead. Weird but true.

Kimberly

I’m soooo scared of spiders and those creepy (not so little) thousand leggers that supposedly eat spiders! I get freeked out anytime I see one of them lol. They say not to kill the spider eaters but I say death to all creepy crawlers!!

Lindsay Pryor = BEST STORY TELLER EVER 💜

Andrea O'Connor

My Birthday is November 1st and this would be a wonderful gift. I love horror movies, etc. But what scares me is Demonic Possession.

Natasha

I’m sacred of mice. They terrify me so I’m paralyzed when I see them. I start screaming, but no sound comes out. Someone usually drags me away from them, lol.
